Durr Bottling needed more power capacity than the local municipal grid could supply. Rather than wait for grid upgrades, the owner deployed a large hybrid energy system, capable of running fully off-grid when required, with the municipal connection becoming just one of three supply sources alongside solar PV and on-site diesel generation.

The deployment combines 360kW of grid-tied solar generation, a 500kW off-grid inverter system, 660kWh of battery storage, and a 110kW diesel generator. Each component was best-in-class for its role, but they came from different vendors with different diagnostics tools, fragmenting the operator’s view across three separate apps and making whole-system optimisation impossible.

Soluno integrates all of these sources into a single real-time intelligence layer. Our AI-driven asset management service continuously orchestrates when to draw from grid, when to charge or discharge the battery, and when to run the generator, minimising energy cost while maintaining uninterrupted supply to production lines.
